Kognia launches global survey of data use in player development

Today Kognia launches its first global data survey focused on the application of data and technology in academy football.

In first-team football, data and analytics play an integral role within many clubs' existing workflows, whether that’s to support and inform decision-making across physical, tactical and technical performance.

But in academy environments, it can often be a more nuanced situation. Resources vary, workflows are not necessarily replicated across all levels and the focus can often shift from match outcomes to longer-term development.

That’s why we’ve launched a global survey to better understand how football academies are actually using data: what’s working, what’s missing, and where innovation can support specific goals and requirements.

At Kognia, we recognise that academy analysis has its own objectives, its own constraints and its own potential. That's why we want to hear from those who operate in these spaces, and surface the insights that go beyond what we already know to be true at first-team level.

We’re committed to building tools and knowledge that reflect the realities of youth development, not just elite competition. If you work in academy analysis, we’d love to hear from you. Your perspective could help shape the future of football intelligence.

If you’re working in academy football analysis - take the survey here (your response is anonymous)
