Kognia launches global academy analysis survey
Today Kognia has launched its global academy analysis survey.
We’re inviting academy practitioners, from analysts and coaches to directors, to share how they use tactical data in player development, and what’s holding the industry back.
The survey is entirely anonymous, available in multiple languages and should take between 5-10 minutes to complete.
At the academy level, the focus is on player development rather than just the next game. Squads change every season, and staff have to put young players’ progress as the priority. A tactical framework only works there if it’s built for those conditions.
This survey emphasises Kognia's commitment and dedication to understanding the unique challenges faced by academies when compared to a first-team environment.
Kognia works with leading academies, providing consistent tactical insight throughout clubs to enhance the player development pathway and help clubs develop their future talent.
This is the second time the survey has run, with over 40 practitioners from academies globally contributing to the 2025 report. Read that report here.
